Closing Comments by Sixth Grade Classes, Friday, September 26
Neah-Kah-Nie Middle School, Pickle & Tortuga's Classes (Mrs. Dilbeck's Class & Mr. Dilbeck's Class)
O is for Outstanding! The staff members are outstanding because they know how to help kids when they are homesick.
U is for Unbelievably! The cabins were unbelievably warm and cozy.
T is for Terrific! The ocean view was terrific.
D is for Dinner! The formal dinner was very special. We will remember it forever.
O is for Outside! Learning outside in the fresh air filled our minds with excitement.
O is for OWARII! OWARII at Outdoor School stands for Oh What a Relief It is.
R is for Relaxing. The boat rides were relaxing.
S is for Songs! Singing songs at campfire warmed our hearts.
C is for Counselors! The counselors made this week the best. They were understanding and caring, yet fun.
H is for Hilarious! Watching the cabin groups do the skits was hilarious.
O is for Outdoors! The rain didn't stop us from having fun outdoors.
O is for Only put ups, not put downs! We learned at Outdoor School . . . building people up is more important than bringing them down.
L is for Lifelong friends! We have made friends here at Outdoor School that will last forever.
