Who can attend Tillamook County Outdoor School (TCODS)?
Any sixth grader in Tillamook County can attend ODS. This includes home schooled students and students attending private schools.

Students in some of the public schools have worked to fundraise money to pay the fee for their attendance at ODS. All interested homeschooled and private schooled sixth grade-age children will also need to pay the fee and contact Moses as soon as possible to arrange attendance during one of the weeks of camp. This year, due to fundraising and donations, we are hoping to keep the fee for in-county students to the incredibly low $95.00 per sixth grader. (Schools attending from outside the county pay a slightly higher per student fee as so much money is fundraised from inside Tillamook County.)

High school students may attend as counselors if they sign up during the first week of school and are selected to attend. Check with the high school office staff to find out where the sign up will take place. Listen to or read the posted high school announcements for further information. Students are selected in the order of sign-up with seniors being taken before juniors etc. If you attend a high school outside of Tillamook County, contact Moses about attending as a counselor if you are interested by the Thursday after Labor Day!

A few young adults attend camp as Senior Counselors (SCs). A few others serve as YO! Staff. Check out the information FAQs for SCs and YO! if you are interested.

I have money that I would like to give to a worthy nonprofit organization. Can TCODS benefit from any donations?

YES! Yippy Skippy! We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing ODS for Tillamook County's sixth graders and selected high school students. Donations help us keep the student cost down, and it seems that every year lately we end the year in the red. Please either contact Moses if you would like more information before donating, or send your donation to TCODS, PO Box 4, Cloverdale, OR 97112. Your donation will be acknowledged with a receipt.

Also, if you might know of others who might want to make a donation or of businesses or organizations who might be interested in donating to TCODS, contact Moses.
